3, 2, 1 … boom! Yet again a super deal! The HUNT is the event for online bargain hunters. The perfect opportunity to buy your new iPhone, laptop, food processor, running shoes, washing machine or designer chair for a generous price. Are you fast enough?
“Create an animation about our not-to-be-missed online bargain-hunting event and explain how it works.” IBOOD approached us with this question. It was our challenge to tell the target audience about the Hunt in as short a time as possible. And to get them excited to participate.
The animation has a playful, colorful visual style and makes use of an accessible tone of voice. The voice actor is in line with this concept; she brings the message in an informal and cheerful way. Visually, we chose a round and friendly design.
We use many abstract objects in the animation. This is also the case on the website where the iBOOD Hunt takes place. We make sure that the viewer can only focus on matters that are important. Because we add less detail there is less ‘noise’ in the animation and the goal is achieved in a better way.
Hunt in 6 seconds
Do we live in a fast world? Hell yes. But can it be even faster? iBOOD challenged us to explain their Hunt in just 6 seconds. By making good use of the rhythm of the music, the story is told at breakneck speed. The video has been used successfully as YouTube pre-roll.
